The LPF is poised to prioritise initiatives that closely align with Landi's passions, initially focusing on making meaningful contributions to organisations, establishments, environments, and causes.

The Landi Prinsloo Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2024 with the mission to positively impact people’s lives and provide assistance to organisations in need of support for human and animal welfare, as well as environmental conservation.

Landi Prinsloo’s passions encompassed a broad spectrum, including people, children, animals, the environment, academics, literature, and humanity as a whole. She envisioned a world where every individual, child, and animal could experience happiness, care, and sustainable futures. Landi’s approach to life was characterised by a focus on non-material values, simplicity, and structure, yet it possessed a depth and richness beyond superficial measures.

Our mission is to make a meaningful contribution to improving people’s lives, supporting organisations in need of assistance in areas such as human and animal welfare, and promoting environmental stewardship.

We honour the legacy of Landi Prinsloo and the values she embodied by making a positive impact on people, animals, and the environment. We aim to create a better future through proactive and positive actions today.

We are grateful for all donations and pledge to allocate them towards the core objectives of the LPF. The majority of these contributions will be transparently shared and showcased on our website.

Jacaranda
kinderhuis

Jakaranda Kinderhuis cares for children placed in our care by the Children’s Court and manage two premises in Pretoria; Jakaranda Kinderhuis in East Lynne and Louis Botha Kinderhuis’s Home in Queenswood. Our children are aged between 3 – 18 years, we have 20 homes at Jakaranda Kinderhuis and 9 homes at Louis Botha Kinderhuis. Each of these homes have a houseparent who takes care of between 10 – 12 children in her / his home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Thula Tula Elephant & Rhino conservation

Thula Thula, which literally means peace and tranquillity in Zulu, is the oldest private wildlife reserve in KwaZulu-Natal. This former hunting ground of legendary Zulu King Shaka boasts a unique diversity of landscapes, from riverine bush, savanna and forest. Thula Thula private game Reserve is a 4500 ha (soon to be 5500ha) Wildlife Sanctuary dedicated to the conservation, protection and survival of endangered species. Situated in Zululand, only 2 hours from Durban, and one hour from Richards Bay, Thula Thula is a luxury safari destination where our experienced game rangers will share their incredible knowledge of the bush during exciting game drives while you observe elephant, rhino, buffalo, hippo, hyena, leopard and so much more, including over 350 bird species.
